Yamaha’s Vision For This Program

Since its founding in 1887, and true to its corporate motto of “Sharing Passion & Performance”, Yamaha has been helping to bring inspiration to others through its various efforts in sound and music. By inspiring and moving people, music has the power to overcome obstacles between them. We believe that these children have the ability to create their own future with their own hands, and that through our program, music can help them do this. When music has brought people together, this is the moment when inspiration and creation happen. Yamaha endeavors to continue making contributions to musical culture.

With a musical instrument,
 anyone can become a hero.

I'm a HERO Program

SCROLL

Change

New heroes
 will
 stand in
 a stadium.

“Pave your own path to the future.” That means you become your own hero in life. Every child has the potential to become a hero.

The culmination of our efforts thus far, the "I’m a HERO Program" has two aims; creating opportunities for children to become heroes, and using the AMIGO Project and the Venova to help address challenges faced by local children and to help them lead better lives through the enjoyment of playing music and the positive benefits it provides.

Stand

When
 it comes
 to
 Colombian heroes,
soccer players
 tend to
top the list.

For these children, when it comes to Colombian heroes, soccer players tend to top the list. You could even say they are Colombia’s biggest heroes. They inspire and encourage those who watch them, which is precisely what heroes should do. The stadiums they play in isare the stage of heroes, full of lights and cheering.

We decided to set up a stadium as a stage where the children themselves can become the heroes — standing alongside the soccer players they admire, and playing the national anthem, the pride of the Colombian people, on their Venovas. What’s more, they will reach that stage all on their own, and in that moment, they too will become heroes.

Believe

Strength to
 believe
 in
 their own power
and pave a path
to better future.

Through their own efforts, these children can take the stage, perform, and receive thunderous applause. We believe that this experience will provide them with the strength to believe in their own power and pave a path to better future.

We also hope that the sight of the children playing the national anthem will be a symbol of breaking down that invisible wall, spreading courage and self-confidence to all who see it.

We also hope that the sight of the children playing the national anthem will be a symbol of breaking down that invisible wall, spreading courage and self-confidence to all who see it.

The hope conveyed
 by the logo

The motif of the "I'm a HERO Program” logo features a star and a musical staff. Every child around the globe lives in different circumstances, but all see the stars when they look up at the night sky.The shining star symbolizes a hero, and thus this logo expresses our wishes for children to fight adversity, play their own songs, fulfill their desires, and become heroes themselves.

Heroes—those people who keep trying in the face of adversity.
Heroes serve as examples, giving courage to others. On this day, children will stand on a huge stage and become heroes.
These children, who have learned to enjoy playing music through the "I’m a HERO Program"
and who have gained self-confidence and courage through practice and dedication,
will perform the national anthem on their Venova before a large crowd of spectators.
Don’t miss the chance to witness that moment.
